Guild Wars 2

I have all of the components to craft a Celestial Greatsword, but when I go into the discovery panel, it only shows the orichalcum greatsword blade and handle. It doesn’t show my Celestial Orichalcum Imbued Inscription, even though it is crafted and sitting in my inventory waiting to be used…

Is there something I’m missing?? Why can’t I craft a celestial greatsword? Am I supposed to take it to the mystic forge or something?

You need to buy the recipe. you can’t discover it.

Anything you can craft that has a recipe from karma, rewards, etc. can’t be discovered. You’re obligated to get the recipe first.

This is the recipe you need. Fortunately it’s cheap.

Ah, you don’t “discover” them even after you have the recipe. You just get the option to craft them from the main “components” tab, like any other piece of gear that you have already discovered. This confused me at first too.

They may, however, change this and let us discover these items for XP now that they’re raising the cap to 500. At least, I really hope they do.
