Hello!

A number of weeks back I had crafted a Celestial Orichalcum Imbued Inscription to help setting up for discovering recipes for 400+ Weaponsmithing. When I go to discover recipes, the Inscription isn’t found in that “stash” of items that can be used to discover.

Is this a known bug currently? Or is there something I’m missing? I haven’t found any other relevant information on it.

If the recipe of the end item to be crafted is already discovered, you won’t find the inscription under discovery tab. Instead you can directly craft it if you have all required components from craft tab (with the hammer icon) from the list. Discovery is only for those items where you don’t have/need recipe but need to discover (like potions etc).

All celestial gear are crafted from recipes and thus can’t be discovered.

I couldn’t do any discoveries to level my Artificer. All the potions that were discovered before the patch are still discovered.

Afaik, they have reset only exotic discovery recipes so you could level up crafting by rediscovering. At 400, all potions are of grey color and don’t give any XP if I’m not wrong so there won’t be any point in resetting those since players won’t benefit from rediscovering. I could be a bit wrong here though!

Nope, they were all still orange(same color as exotic items). Pretty sure you can make those until 450.

I just need to make one more Exotic to hit 500 huntsman and i have made one of these but it won’t let me use it to craft a weapon. I have not discovered any of the Celestial recipes yet. I sent a bug report in game this morning regarding this.

As phaneo mentioned above, you can’t discover Celestial recipes. They all require the recipe sheets to learn. This is actually the same as ascended items. The only way to get those recipe right now is from the trading post. Some are cheap(speargun, 3s38c) while others are expensive(axe, 1g10s33c).

I hadn’t previously used any Celestial Imbued Inscriptions before. Did your inscription show as Account Bound?

For the nth time in this thread… celestial is NEVER discovered it is only learned from recipe sheets.

This is what you want. As of now, two ways to get it:
- Trade any Zephyr Fortune scraps you have left for Zephyr boxes from Black Lion Weapon trader in LA and open these boxes for recipes (RNG based)
- Buy them off TP.

Actually, they need not the recipe for inscription, but a recipe for the weapon/armor (since they seem to already posess inscriptions).

Ah, my bad. I linked the wrong item. Here, for example is one recipe you need for individual piece of armor:

You need to search for corresponding recipe on TP or end up lucky from Zephyr boxes which will let you craft these. Again, the celestial items are NOT discovery items, but rather require recipes to be unlocked for inscription/insignia and the final item (armor piece/weapon).
