I think it cost me around 8G to cap Jelewler and about the same to cap weaponsmithing. What is the cheapest one to cap?
Both artificer and cooking can be done on the cheap. Artificing with potion making and cooking by discovery/karma/careful planning. I don’t have links to guides right now but you should be able to find some relatively easily with minimal searching.
Great website with complete guides for all crafts.
Cooking was the cheapest by far. Next in line I would say Jeweler or Artificer. I’m not really sure how it cost you 8g to do Jewelery unless you had to buy everything. Mine was around 4g but had some of the upper tier mats. I have all crafts done and used this site for all. The cooking guide is a little off, but there are some better ones out there, including one on this forums but it’s back a few pages by now.
this is probably a better version of cooking
just ignore the price they listed its a bit outdated.. but still its still the cheapest
crafting to do and it doesn’t require a booster.

That’s the one I was talking about. That’s the one I used. The other site is great for everything else but the cooking since it wasn’t done by the site owner.
Thanks for the info. I’ll be doing this later for sure.
Any idea how much it would cost to cap Artificer?
It would depend on the amount of materials you have vs. how many you need. It should be in the 4g to 5g range if you have at least some of the materials.
I did not keep track, but I spent almost no money leveling Artificing to 400 in 1-2 hours. The piles of dust are incredibly cheap and you get a lot just by playing the game normally. Stick to making as many potions as you can.
I took Jewelry to 400 with minimal investment as well. Aside from spending some silver buying a handful of materials, discovery yielded great results and I took it to 400 with very little problem.
Agree 100%. Discovery makes things easier, why waste globs?
You can level a craft to 400 on much less that a gold, if you’re willing to make the time and effort. It’s more time-efficient to farm gold in Orr, though. I have made an overall profit on all of the crafts I’ve done to 400, except cooking (which is my last, and harder to profit at). You can even make a profit on the first tier stuff, if you work at it.
At least, I did yesterday, leveling Huntsman from 0 to 86 on first tier stuff, made 14s profit. Hardly worth the several hours I put into it, of course, but it can be done, and I was doing it for fun.
Cheapest, in cash, is all of them except maybe cooking. But you have to trade time and effort.
