On my way into work I thought of a way that we could raise Chef crafting to 500.
As it stands we only have 2 types of meat: chicken, and beef. Why not introduced fish, ham, toxic meat (risen animals), and shrimp. Shrimp is stretching it a bit. Anyways there is an abundance of tuna, why not slaughter them to make tuna fish sandwiches or sushi. Same with boars… Porkchop sandwiches. The toxic meat my idea was that it would be used to help with being poisoned or increasing the time of poison duration. The shrimp i was thinking popcorn shrimp and shrimp kittentail. My mouth is watering as I am typing. mmmmmm porkchop sandwiches.

20 level 80s and counting.
I could see using some of the stuff from Ascended crafting for it.
Dragonite Ore to make “platters” that stick around or maybe even much larger stacks than most foods. (Maybe even infinite use?)
Bloodstone Dust with some salt and pepper to make a magically infused dish?
…Not sure what I’d do with Empyrean Shards though. :P

…Sorry, but I’ve been playing a little too much Dragon’s Crown lately, and the sheer vengeance of devouring a chunk of some kittenhat that ticked me off is such delicious, delicious schadenfreude.

Was actually thinking along those lines as well. the meat could be used to buff against that boss at a later time when it comes back around.

Honestly i was hoping that they would put fishing in so i can catch me some tuna and cook it up. I know that is pushing the limit. Just having the 2 different meats is fine but by adding 2 others is opening up so many other possibilities. If this were to be added we could help reduce the population of these creatures which will be better for everyone in the long run. Boaters wouldn’t hit so many tuna’s, no more accidents with boars smacking people in the face while they run through Tyria. it is a win win in my book
