Just wanna make sure I am not missing something.
30 Corrupted Lodestones and 1 Shaman’s Etched Weapon, whatever type you want, is all I need to put in the Mystic Forge and I will get a Corrupted Weapon?

No.

You defeat the Claw of Jormag and afterwards a Merchant opens up in the Vigil camp with all the cannons and stuff. He sells the recipes for the Corrupted weapons. He’s a Son of Svanir, hard to miss.

To add:
- recipes require lvl 80 char to learn
- you must have lvl 80 version of Shaman’s Etched Weapon (of rage)

Corrupted weapons are crafted with a crafting profession, not via the Mystic Forge. You buy the recipe from the Merchant after the Claw of Jormag event in Frostgorge Sound.

This means that you need to also have a crafting profession leveled to 400, in addition to having the mats to make the Corrupted Weapon. I.E. Huntsman for pistol, rifle, etc, Weaponsmith for Greatsword, Sword, Shield, etc., and Artificer for Staff, Scepter, etc.

Yep, they not only fixed the icons but they also “fixed” the skins for a few of them.

Gotta say, the new shortbow looks…terrible. I was ok with the little bit of mist before, but now it’s even smaller and the bow itself is VERY small and has lost a lot of charm(basically looks like a blue twig with some curled ends and a little bit of mist at the tips; nothing like the older skin with lots of curls all over and deep blue color to the ice).

Yeah… The new Corrupted shortbow looks terrible in my opinion. Please change back it makes me cry everytime I look at it.

anyone know if they’ve changed the Corrupted Skeggox to not share the same skin as the precursor Tooth of Frostfang?

they didnt change the corrupted skeggox as far as i can see since i own a corrupted skeggox and it looks like always.

I can also confirm the Skeggox is the same as before.

People keep talking about corrupted shortbow having a change in looks but no one has ever posted a screenshot of it.

I saw one….unfortunately I can’t remember the thread. The new shortbow barely looks corrupted at all – it looks much closer to the shaman bow you make it from than to the corrupted longbow

Does anyone know if the scepter or focus changed?

All lodestones dropped in price due to the Orr boxes.

Also, FYI, a dev commented on this issue in the suggestions forum section and stated that the shortbow skin update was NOT intentional. It will be fixed in the next major update(likely Feb).

Shortbow just got fixed. New post in the Patch Notes thread.

Yes, the Shortbow was using the Longbow’s skin/model.

It was a fix.
