Guild Wars 2

Recently I just bought a Shaman’s Etched Branch of Rage on the TP. As it doesn’t have the stats I want (and I don’t have all the lodestones to make the corrupted version) I transmuted my stats onto the weapon. I still kept the sigil and the skin though.

Unfortunately now this blocks me from being able to use the weapon in the recipe, the main reason I bought it for.

I hope this can be fixed soon, because if I happened to have bought a legendary precursor and put my stats on it, it would be a lot more money that I would have lost.

Hopefully this can be changed, or at least a warning that I won’t be able to use it in the recipe once I transmute it.

The recipe is what it is. You can’t change the base item before using it in the recipie. After you upgrade it then you can transmute it

The base is 1G on the AH won’t be hard for him to fix his mistake can probably salvage the one he changed for 2 ecto. So loss of 50s and lesson learned

Its stupid if its true. You should be allowed to transmute new stats to a weapon and still use the recipe.
I planned to get a Dawn of Rage and transmute different stats (power vit toughness) on it until I can make a legendary. Guess I can cancel that idea.
