I realized that I have enough to buy a feast recipe.

I was wondering what is the most cost-effective food here? I plan on giving every single dungeon pug I run with a feast or empower my wvw friends that didn’t bother to bring consumables.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

I would say it’s better to just get your own food and not bother with the feast recipe. Chances are, people will be using their own food, and unless you carry food that fits everyone, it won’t be of any use.

Feasts are only really awesome in WvW where everyone can enjoy free buffs before a zerg rush. If you want to give your buddies good stuff in dungeons, just make normal food and mail it to them when it starts. It’s a good way to make friends, to boot.

I just forged the Feast of Truffle Steak recipe yesterday and I think it’s working out well. It’s +100 power and +70 prec. I figured it’d be useful to nearly every class.

Try one of those “regenerate health each second” foods. There isn’t a single build out there that doesn’t find them useful.

Now, whether there are other foods they find more useful, that’s another story.

Alternatively, Omnomberry bars. 30% magic find and 40% increased gold from monsters is something everyone likes in dungeons, especially as they may not be running their magic find gear.
