I was wondering, if we learn the recipes for the gifts before the end of the Halloween event, are we able to make the weapons after?
I currently know all 3 recipes:
Gift of souls, Gift of the spiders and Gift of the moon.

I am assuming that the weapons are made similarly to the Aether (I freeking love my Aether) and other gift exotics by:
Eldrich scroll
100 mystic coins
Gift (souls/spider/moon)
250 of primary weapon component

Has anyone crafted any of the weapons already?

yes i am very interested in this as well. the gifts, were they bought from an npc?

i also think that some of the mats won’t be available until later stages of the halloween event, as i think this is only the first part

The gifts are made in the MF, however they are probably cheaper to buy than make because the noobs that made it without realizing it will cost 200g to make will want to get rid of them.

I also see that the item says soulbound on use, but I can’t find the weapon ‘The Crossing’ when I search on TP.
Does this mean that if I learn the recipe on my mesmer I will not be able to use it on my necromancer later on? Or can they just not be sold on tradepost?

I am unsure about this. Some current gifted exotics are on the TP such as destroyer and Aether, however there are others that are soulbound when you make them. Maybe ask a Dev?

there has been discussion as to whether crafting the halloween exotics is even worth all the effort when the same items drop in the mad king’s dungeon chest. i suggested a recolor of the dropped version to differentiate the two, making it at least cosmetically seem worth while. i wish everyone luck in being able to get what they are after.
