I have rested from the game for a while. I just came back and want to level my tailor from 400 to 500.

To my horror, all my discoveries seems to be gone. For example, I already discovered “Superior Rune of the Undead” and many other runes and Exalted light armors from before. But they are no longer available to be crafted.

I was able to discover Superior Rune of the Undead again. However I don’t want to discover everything again. I have quite a huge collection of things that I discovered.

Is this a bug? Or is something else wrong?

They purposely removed the discovery. So people can earn exp to discover it again.

THey had to reset certain discoveries – e.g. max tier armour – in order to facilitate the exp gain that you need to get from level 400 to level 500. Is it annoying – yes. Was it necessary – yes.

I just found out that the crafting of Bolt of Damask is time gated at one per 15 hours. I already bought all the materials I needed to make 15 of them for my Tempered Spinal Blades in tailoring. So this will take me 7 or 8 days to complete.

I know that it is cheaper to craft with leatherwork. But I am too lazy to level that up.

ITs timegated at 24 hours. The timer counts down to daily reset.

only the discoverable discoveries were reset. any recipe one was not. It’s still the same recipe; only you get more exp when you discover it again rather than just make them.

Damask are not time gated, its the bolt of silk that is time gated at 24h, each day at reset.

They did that in order for some people that don’t want ascended gear, to just sell their damask and make money out of it.

Timegating the refinement of bolt of silk to once per day would take timegating ascended gear to a whole new level. 100 days to make a bolt of damask.

yup, I remember making 100g the first week it was released just selling 1 damask a day

Damask is still expensive as hell. You can make a ton of money by selling those.
