Hey all ,

Recently i decided to lvl up an ele and i enjoy the class so far . I was wondering what gear should i craft from my toon (lvl 80 that is ) and i decided to go with celestial .

I really want to know what makes so special the celestial (exotic) gear compared to the other 13-14 set that exist so far in game, that you need almost 2 months to make a full armor set and weapons . Celestial exotic is also Account Bound which means you can’t even buy the insignia on Market . Isn’kitten little bit unfair ? shouldn’t be all those recipes attainable at the same rate , concidering that we are talking about the same tier of gear ? .

I recently came back to game so at first i wondered if it is the ultimate gear for this game but it seems that this isn’t the case . it is just another exotic set with all around stats for those who prefer it instead of another set .

So Anet pls explain to me what makes exotic Celestial pieces so special that requires almost 60 days to get the non top tier set and also they are not tradeable .

My suggestion would be either make tem tradeable OR make the production of crystal to be 1 / character / day rather than account .

P.S is it something that i do not get it or know during the proccess of crafting Celestial gear ?

It’s just the way how this set was designed/introduced. You know that you will need to actually buy the recipes on the TP? They are not “discovered” as the rest of them.

There have been a few threads already asking to remove the crafting cd on this.

I remember waiting “patiently” for my 22 days to get my set of Celestial Exotic armor… (22 because I have the node, so I can strike it for a chance at a Charged Quartz).

Currently, I have 1000 Quartz, 60 Charged Quartz and nothing to do with either, because I have my Exotic Celestial set. If I want Ascended Celestial, I have 3 Ascended Armor Boxes that can give me Celestial (out of 4 Boxes [Raider’s doesn’t give Celestial]).

For Weapons, I think it’s nice that there are Exotics that give Celestial, and they have reasonable prices.

For Armor, I think it’s a fair system, albeit slightly too gated. There’s no reason for it to not be faster, but at the same time, making it 1/char/day is unfair to those who have fewer characters or don’t buy character slots.

I understand your frustration, and almost all players attempting to make Celestial went through the same “why?” moment back when it was released. It’s a luxury item, so the fact that it’s not easy to make is fair.

Additionally, it only requires 30 days to make a Celestial Armorset, and the weapons are almost all available on the TP.
