Agony infusions can be combine to make infusions up to +12. Can the same be done for other infusions.

Just spent a ton of time and gold on creating a Versatile Mighty Infusion, +5 Power & Agony Resistance. Wonder if it can be increased using the same process as for Agony infusions.

the complex infusions were added to the game long before the +1 Agony Resist infusions. As far as anyone knows, there is no other use for them than put them into infusion slots. So, no, I don’t expect you can promote them.
I believe they don’t even show up in the forge window?

Agony Infusions get upgraded by the Artificer profession, not the MF, so i would check, if the versatile infusions show up in the Artificer discovery window.

geeze. can you imagine if you could? for the low-low price of 13 billion gold, you could have a +12 stat / +12 AR infusion.

for +6, you’d need 2 of them
…
for +12, you’d need 128 of them
that’s 640SP + 2,560 Mystic Coin + 32,000 Passion Fruit + 1,280 Powerful Blood
at current buy prices, that’s only 922g88s. kinda disapointing
+30, you’d need 33,554,432 of them
that’s 167 million SP + 671 million Mystic Coin + 8.4 billion Passion Fruit + 335 million Powerful Blood = 241,927,454g. that’s more like it

Wiki says AR is capped at +16 per infusion, so you would need 11 upgrades.

Note that the Agony Resistance infusions go in a completely separate slot from the ones Versatile infusions go into. Agony Resistance infusions (the ones that can be crafted to improve their base +) can only be slotted into infused Ascended gear (the ones with (Infused) after their name. Currently, only Rings and Backpieces can be Infused to be able to accept AR infusions.

So don’t worry, your Versatile Mighty Infusion is not wasted. You can have that AND a +10 (higher?) Agony Resistance infusion on the same item.

Ok. Finally got the resources together to craft another Omni infusion. It does show up in the discover panel of my Artificer. Need another like it to do the upgrade.

Which omni infusion did you make exactly?

Versatile Resilient Infusion. +5 toughness, +5 agony resistance. It can be added to any type of infusion slot except agony infusion slots.

I tried wvw infusions and they dont show up in the mf or artificer discovery panel.
Was already looking forward to -100% damage from guards….
