Is it still possible to craft to lvl 80?

No, when all crafts can go to 500 then yes, but until then all crafts give 7 levels from 1-400 and the 3 weapon crafts also do 3 levels from 400-500.

Though, if you have a spare scroll of experience then you can get most of the way still (lvl 78) just by getting the 8 crafting professions to 400. Even if all crafting professions were raised to 500, I don’t know who would throw away all of that money crafting up compared to just playing for a bit.

Does crafting still give 7 levels for skilling 0-400? I’ve started leveling my new character that way and from 0 to 75 so far there was no single level up. I have a feeling that in my Main character that was faster. Just feeling?

It should, and you should get a level roughly every 57 crafting levels.

Woops, my bad. Thanks for correcting me. I checked the wiki and I think it may not have had the info updated since 0-400 gives only 7 levels.

Crafting Level Experience per Level
0-100 1%
101-200 2%
201-300 3%
301-400 4%

That adds up to 10, not 7 (unless I’m doing something very stupid).

Edit: Either way, Pogromca, that’s the reason why you didn’t get a character level up only going up to 75 in crafting.
