Crafting to 400 level
Insignias are used in armor crafting, you are looking for mithril inscriptions to craft rare lvl 80 weapons.
The recipes for those you get from the master huntsman or just buy the inscription of the tp and discover a new lvl 80 rare weapon with it.

Try this site. You might not be able to do exactly as it suggests, but it will give you an idea as to what to do. For example, at level 375 it suggests discovering and then making major sigils of corruption. So just discovering that or something similar should do it.

Did you buy any of the rare recipies from the Master Crafter? I think that is what is meant by buying insignias, the recipies for making them.
Thanks all for your comments. Things have moved on a bit but I am still stuck. I did buy two rare recipes from the master crafter for my other discipline (weaponsmith) but after more crafting finished up at level 399 as before. The guide which I have been using says you need 30x (Tier 5 Fine Materials) twice and I have got some of these but I just don’t know how to use them.
To craft rare inscription you need:
The recipe bought from master crafter
15 t5 mats
2 mithril plated dowels (refined from 2 elder wood planks and 3 mithril ingots)
With a rare inscription you can discover a rare weapon recipe with the inscription and 2 weapon components made of mithril or elder wood.

Thanks Wanze. Done it at last although I’m still not quite sure how I did it.
