Hello all,

I was wondering if it’s possible to level a toon from about level 20-80 solely through crafting? If so what are the best profs to do it for the cheapest and on that thought about how much will it cost assuming I purchase all mats off the TP?

I enjoy leveling normally and learning the in’s and out’s of my class (well profession I guess, forgive me I’m from that other game) but I’d like to get one character to 80 as quickly as possible just to check out endgame content and really just to have an 80 on my account.

You get 7 levels for each tradeskill you take from 1-400. With 8 tradeskills, you can get a total of 56 levels if you do all of them. I’m not sure how many levels you get going from 400-500 but I’d guess no more than 1 most likely so that’s another 6 levels for a total of 62 levels from tradeskills. If you want to go this route, I’d recommend doing some searching online for guides. Generally speaking, if you sold nothing back, you’d spend around 160 gold to go to 400 in all skills. Expect another 50-100 gold per tradeskill from 400-500.

Meh, so it’s really not too much faster and MUCH more expensive than I thought. Thanks I’ll go the old fashioned route. Now to decide what first…Thief, War, or Ele.. but that’s for another forum another time. Appreciate the info.
