Hi Asterix,

Gratz!!

First place i would go is the Wiki pages to see exactly what i need to make the legendary.

All legendarys take the same ingredients excluding g the unique gift such as the “Gift of Twilight” or the “Gift of Bifrost” Check out the links below also fell free to PM me in game if you need any help i have made them both and good luck!!

1300 is enough to buy The Legend, which is the precursor to Bifrost.

To craft Bifrost look here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bifrost

In short you will need:

A precursor.
500 badges of honour
340 skill points
1 million karma
500 Arah tokens
Lots of material that can be bought with gold.

If I were you I would buy the precursor first (though if you like gambling you can craft rare staves and throw them in the mystic forge to try and get one), then look at gift of mastery. Learn to run at least one explorable path of Arah and craft mystic clovers.

Twilight is much the same except you will have to learn Ascalonian Catacombs.

You’re going for the more popular expensive legendaries, so while that gold will get you a good part of the way to your goal, you will need more. It also depends d’s on bow much T6 you have, as if you don’t have a lot you can easily spend over 400 gold on that part of the gift.

Anyways you need to decide which one you want to go for and only you can make that choice, but I hope you’ll be happy with whatever you choose! And do dungeons for the tokens you need and the rest of the gold you need and I’m sure you’ll have it in a few weeks of hard work

Only the gift of fortune cost 800+ gold(2000 t6 + 500ectos assumin u have none of these) + the precursor + the gift of( twilight/bifrost) = u need around 2000g, i repeat if u have nothing to start with

I needed roughly 2000g when I crafted Twilight a month ago (includes buying dusk for 800). not sure about prices now but I would assume it’s about the same.

Not even close.

Look here for estimated gold requirements for all legendaries:

Twilight/Bifrost both cost 2500g to craft.

No you don’t have enough gold.

When you have enough gold(or want to do it gradually):

1) Check if you have enough obsidian shards(450-500 usually).
2) If you dont, do map completion. If you already did map completion do gold boss blitz or EoTM karma farm.
3) Make 77 mystic clovers.
4) Gather/buy everything you need for Gift Of Fortune.
5) Gather/buy everything you need for Gift Of Mastery.
6) Gather/buy everything you need for Gift Of [Legendary]
7) Gamble for your precursor(Yes, more often that not, it will be cheaper to gamble for The Legend or Dusk than buying it off the TP).

Not necessarily. gw2legendary assumes that it’ll take you 77 tries to make 77 clovers, when in reality you only have a ~33% chance to craft one.

The route I’d suggest is getting your prec first. once that’s done, you’re 50% (more or less) the way done. It’ll also give you better motivation to finish up the rest, since the rest can be added incrementally.

Don’t disturb me, I have a cat in me at the moment.
