Will it ever be implemented into the game and have a purpose? My theory is when Anet decides to allow us to craft ascended trinkets. But who knows.

You wont need copper for the Electrum item.

Look at the tooltip of Xunlai electrum ingots on the TP. Just search the TP for items of ascended rarity. You’ll see.

Btw it’s been known since September last year. Hint: you’ll also need mithrilium.
