anyone have any ideas what this will be used for? We know its not Armour or weapons, that means it has to be used in crafting precursors or rings.

I have a feeling it will be an ingredient needed for r500 Jeweler, possibly for crafting Ascended jewels.

It definitely doesn’t sound like something you would eat!
I was talking to a friend about this the other day. We noted that it sites on the ungated side of the ascended materials collection.

It will probably had a new ascended quality ruby orb. That will be very expensive. Xunlai Electrum, and Crystaline ingots are the last 2 ascend mats for crafting. One made from Crystaline ore and the other from mithrillium, silver, gold, platium. I just hope A-net find other ways to use ascended crafting mats I have a stock pile of dust/bust and stars/fragments.

What if A-net uses crystaline ingots used for ascended sigil/runes?d
