As a relatively new player I had avoided crafting for a while but just got myself up to 450 in part to level a character I was bored of leveling, and in part to deal with my growing stacks of dragonite ore, empyreal fragments and bloodstone dust. TBH, I’m not sure I will even do ascended crafting as it seems very slow and expensive and I don’t even know what character I will play long term. But I didn’t want to throw those ingredients out and they were clogging my characters’ inventory.

I had assumed it would be 250 per brick but turns out it’s only 100 which stinks. And what’s worse is the need for these obsidian shards. The least painful/expensive way of getting them seems to be with karma.. but even there it gets expensive. I have been collecting karma since I started playing and got up to around 700k because I never spend it on armor.. but I just used up around 1/6 of it and still haven’t even gotten rid of my piles!

Is there a better way of going about this process I’m just not seeing? I don’t run fractals enough to get relics sufficient to blow on this, and while I do have ~150 laurels, those are so heavily time-gated it seems unwise to use them here.

Sadly no deleting, refining or using storage space is the only thing you can do with it.

Since you don’t want karma armor and assuming your not building a legendary, your safe to spend it. It doesn’t have much outside those purposes. And isn’t hard to regain.

The last option storage space either buy buying more bank tabs or using characters that you don’t use as a mule.

I have a simple and easy solution for you….
Make an extra character that you don’t plan to lvl much or one you don’t play would work….and open all your champ boxes on that low lvl toon.

For example: I have an extra lvl 25 engine that I never plan to lvl and I open all my champ boxes on him. This results in still getting T6 mats, lodestones and cores, at lvl gear, skill point scrolls, etc. The real difference is no dust and the at lvl gear. The nice thing about at lvl gear at lvl 25 is salvaging it into iron, soft wood, and wool. For someone with all lvl 80s these mats are nice. Same works for the higher tiers like linin, Cotten, hard/seasonal wood, etc. This rolls into helping me make my ascended armor mats.

They keep adding minor sinks for bloodstone dust… I have more stacks of non-bloodstone dust than individual bloodstone dusts! Why no empyreal or dragonite or dark matter sinks!?!?
