Guild Wars 2

After reading up on some of the threads around here, does anybody know the best ways to solo farm destroyer cores / lodestones? I’m looking to make a sword / shield and so far the only destroyers I’ve seen are the ones in Mount Maelstrom that only spawn when the destroyer event is up.

If anyone has any tips on collecting these lodestones so I can make my weapon I’d appreciate it. On another note does anybody know if Anet is going to add more destroyers to the game? Preferably high level ones? It’d be nice to have a place to actually farm these. Plus Destroyers are awesome enemies and there’s not enough of them in the game IMO.

You can check out the wiki page for Destroyer Lodestones to find some places, if you want to farm them.

However, as a general rule with lodestones, the drop rate on them is so low that it’s typically more effective to farm gold and then use the gold to buy the lodestones.
