Does using better salvaging kits increase ecto chances?
It may but ive heard someone did a study on it with 200 rares and it turned out thesame betwen them. Ecto’s are not rarer material they are another component of it. ive also heard claims that blacklion salavage kits are 100 percent so who knows

Yeah that doesn’t help anything… you will always get between 0-3 ectos, from EVERYTHING.

BL kits definitely aren’t 100%. I’ve only done 9 pieces, but I’ve gotten 3 ectos from 3, 1 ecto from 3, and zero ectos from 3.
Obviously not a large sample but just giving some info.

This is basically my experience also. I use black lion
