Pretty much the title, I’m assuming not because I’ve never once been able to get an ecto from a basic salvage kit, but I’m not sure.

Secondary question: does anyone know the rate of ecto salvage? I’m sure someone has done some lengthy spreadsheet on it already but I’m not finding it.

I actually got ectos from basic kits yesterday, in fact I got just as many as from master kits, so in the future if I salvage something w/out a rune, its basic kits all the way.

Rarer mats are Crafting Mats Tier +1.

An example of Lv 80 Heavy Equip, salvage is will give mithril & x% give orichalcum.
Ectopalsm is not a basic, fine or rare crafting mat but a Special mats.

Salvaging Lv68-80 Rare give random chance of 0-3 Ecto while Exotic give random of 0-5.
