Can we get dowels moved to their own tab? Planks and ingots together is fine, dowels though is annoying. Especially when you AREN’T refining but creating (mostly) from two base items. Also, for safety, would be great to have them separated. I think we’ve all accidentally started creating dowels.

It’s also annoying that you can’t even search for say “plank” to eliminate the dowels too.

they should be under the inscriptions tab.
I remember way back when I started playing, I wanted to refine the materials as much as they could be so I would be ready to craft. I quickly found out that there was no collections slot for dowels, which kittened me off that I had to store them in my bank, so I never made one again.
they are closer to crafting component than refinement, but fit best under inscriptions imo.

There actually is a search function on top which worked smoothly for me, whenever i needed it.

The whole crafting display could use a revamp. My pet peeves:

  • HORRIBLE highlighting of the selected item in the crafting list. I’m guessing this is the actual reason most players mistakenly craft the wrong item. The selected item of every other line is very difficult to discern by just looking at the list (and the other lines just barely).
  • Selected display options of the list (closed / open categories, filters, etc.) are lost when another tab is selected. Those settings can’t be that hard to maintain while the crafting window is open.
  • Get rid of the useless window after a successful discovery (or at least make it close-able via ESC). I’ve crafted way too many 2nd items when I meant to make the next discovery.
