For the people who have bought BLC’s since the patch and opened their coffers, have you found the Starcake recipes as part of your drops? I’d like to add this recipe to my collection, but given how they only dropped from Rich Coffers last year, I’d like confirmation that they do drop this year before dropping any gems on it.

I don’t know if they drop from the regular coffer, but you only get one guaranteed coffer per BL chest. If that’s all you want to open the chests for, you might be better off buying coffers from the trading post at 7 to 8 silver each.

Don’t do that. I bought thousands of the regular coffers last year – not a single recipe. But that wasn’t what I was going for anyway. Just don’t buy them for the recipe.

Ah, good point, Astral! I’d forgotten that the regular Coffers were tradable. So no sign yet of the recipe dropping from the regular Coffers then?

(Given that the Watchwork rune/sigil recipes didn’t come back, it’s entirely possible that the Starcake recipe won’t be back either. If so, I can give all these Coffers a pass.)

It’s probably is extremely low from the regular coffers.

They weren’t supposed to drop from the regular coffers last year.

Probably not supposed to drop from the regular coffers this year either. If they did it would have been mentioned in the patch notes(give people more reasons to buy BL keys).

Overly expensive to make – I think I have one in the bank.

Yeah, I know they’re overly expensive to make for their benefit. I just want the recipe so my Master Chef knows how to cook EVERYTHING.
