Guild Wars 2

My questions come in two parts. The first thing i wanted to know was why it cost so much more to make a legendary set i.e. 2 1 hand legendarys’ such as frost fang. it seems to me that it would make more sense to make each one half the price of a 2 handed legendary because i know i will be going for both.

My second question is in regards to particle effects and such when you dual wield these legendarys’. Meaning if i dual wield the legendary sword “Bolt”, and the legendary axe “Frost Fang”, will the main hand weapon consume the effects of the off hand. In other words will bolts electricity effect make frost fangs frost/ice effects not work or will they work at the same time making some sort of electric ice effect.

Well I saw a guy the other day using frostfang and rodgort and didn’t notice the little black/red splotches the torch makes, only frostfangs stuff. Not sure if this is intended, or if his particles just didn’t load for me, but based on the information I have I’d say the main-hand takes priority over off-hand.

As to why one-handers cost as much as two-handers, they’re legendary. Intended to be very difficult to obtain. How would it be fair for a person who worked really hard on a greatsword only getting 1 weapon to a person who worked just as hard and getting two? If you want two awesome looking items, you gotta work for both of em.

Well not so many managed (let’s skip how) 2 legendaries , but there is not reason to have this kind of anomaly, both weapons will have his effect.
