Especially with ascended gear, the items you make friom recipies actually cost the maker more than it does to sell. with the tokens you can buy rares to salvage for ecto and/or exotics to forge or salvage. Then plus mats and it sells for like 1g.

Isnt there something they can update these with to add special because why even have this super rare recipie drop if it literally doesnt do anything

Only some recipes are super cheap, and that’s because lots of people have them due to it being overrun paths, such as COF 1 and AC Path 1 & 3.

Personally, I have Plague from CM P2 and I profit about 5.5g on 200 Tokens. I know a bunch of the Arah ones are worth crafting too, aswell as the SE P2 one being 20g+
