Is there any way other to efficiently level artificing? I find myself spending maybe 20s just to increase my crafting level by maybe 5-8 levels. I also try to gain experience by discovering but I still find that to be slow. Any tips? Thanks.

Potions! Potions of centaur slaying are the most cost effective. 1 hide, 1 dust, 1 carrot, and 1 water.

The best way that I found to level artificing, was to make several different types of inscriptions, and several different types of weapon pieces, then combine them with discovery. Each different weapon will give you 2-4 levels and only requires a few planks, maybe some ingots, and a couple of blue reagents, and you only need to make inscriptions that require the reagents that you have a better supply of.

I went from 138-400 artificing in a day when I finally figured it out. Like any crafting profession, the fastest way to level at the least cost is through discoveries.

I suggest you follow a guide that takes you through each tier with the absolute minimum of materials required. (About 1/6 of the materials that you’d use if you just discovered everything you could.)

The artificing guide below works wonders, but you have to be careful about following each step. If you do even one item out of order, you’ll fall a few points short of the next tier and have to waste some more materials.
