I now have most of the crafted gear my heart could desire… and now it’s time to enjoy the finer things in life.

Unless I have missed it, I have yet to find a cooking recipe that uses the end game mats (ectos, t6 fine mats).

I think it would be cool to be able to create a kind of Super Food, one that is created from a slew of fine prized food types and 1-2 ectos. This could create maybe a stack of 25 Super FOOOOOODS.

These superfoods can add all types of cool and interesting things. Example:
The Pale Tree’s 100% Syrup
- 35 magic find
- 50 power
- 5% chance on attack to create syrupy terrain, slowing enemies by 33% for 5 seconds.
- 5% chance on attack to gain a sugar rush, increasing swiftness by 33% for 8 seconds.

I only bring this up because I dont really need ectos anymore, and I dont want to sell them… i must create… super food. Maybe there are already recipes for this, if so let us find them! I think that these super foods could be FUN ways to add some cool stuff to the everyday grind.

make legendaries! or those ridiculous Mystic forge recipe items that require 250 ectos and some other shennanigans.

Don’t disturb me, I have a cat in me at the moment.

Or be able to make fun food themed bundles like a Sandwichmancer Kit!

Sandwichmancer Kit sounds awesome.

It actually depends on what you class as top tier end game super foods.

The ingredients that can only be gathered with an orichalcum sickle are Ghost Peppers, Lemongrass, Lotus Roots, Omnomberries, Orrian and Snow Truffles, Saffron Threads and Seaweed. These all require you to be a level 400 Chef to be able to use them.

[Omnomberry Bars] are all the rage because they are 30% magic find and 40% gold find (they all have the obligatory +10 exp)

[Plates of Lemongrass Poultry] give you vitality based on 6% of your toughness plus +200 power when below 50% health

[Bowl of Lotus Stirfry] gives +70 power and 100% chance to gain Might on kill

[Lotus Fries] have 30% MF and +70 condition dmg

[Bowl of Truffle Sautee] is a 5% crit damage increase with 100% Might on Kill thrown in.

And the list goes on (see the wiki). Some of these are pretty good, but won’t float everyone’s boat.

But you did bring a nostalgic tear to my eye with the good old “Sugar Rush”. Maybe we can craft the blue sugary drinks in future?

Now I’m not going to spoil any recipes, but you can make super foods in the mystic forge. They are called trays of “food name here” where they give the food buff to everyone in a large area.

If they want food to be worth something they should do what lotro does and allow criticals at 15% chance and more foods that increase the critical chance for all crafts. critical crafted items are 50-100% better and ppl will buy them.

Btw I agree should bit comparing with other games to bring more, better stuff, in this case… any cooking stuff, this is fun stuff, and in my experience cooking, chef or whatever they called in another mmmos is always FUN

I don’t commit myself about Heaven and Hell… I have friends in both
