Q:
Currently, under the Artificer crafting profession it is possible to craft 3 types of Essence of luck: Masterwork (50 luck), Rare (100 luck), and Exotic (200 luck).
I have noticed that as my (Account) Magic Find % increases, so does the cost of Essence of luck. My account currently has 157 % Magic Find and I have already begun to notice a significant amount of clicking is involved for this crafting discipline.
Will the ability to craft Legendary Essence of luck (500 luck) ever be introduced?
Cheers,

That is doubtful. Anyways Magic Find stats in terms of luck.
225%- 1/2
185% -1/4
152% -1/8
118% – 1/16
After 218% it will always take 150 exotic luck to get 1% magic find. Best way to level it is to buy thousands of cheap greens on TP. You can even make a profit from salvaging some of them.

that’s the cheapest way to increase it. the fastest would be salvaging ecto with Master Salvage Kits. it’s up each person to decide which is the ‘best’.
I find spending 3x more gold (as much as the most expensive legendary) not worthwhile in comparison to salvaging thousands of blues/greens for a profit (some of the time).
Ulion – have you actually looked into the Ecto Salvage method? It’s possible you can actually MAKE a profit as T6 dust as well as luck is generated. Most player report breaking even or coming close….it’s not nearly as costly as you seem to think (tho it does take a bit more starting capitol than your “cheap Green item” method).

Agreed. I made a large profit while maxing out my MF instead of salvaging ectos and losing gold. I’ve heard from a few people that there is a lot more competition for those profitable blues/greens now unfortunately.
You could salvage for JC related mats and hold onto them in hopes they’ll go up in price if/when they add in ascended jc-ing, but it’s been a while since they introduced the previous crafts so idk if they’ll be doing that (they did say all crafts would be 500 at one point though).

That’s gotta have some high rng risk involved…

I agree – sometimes. the profit does vary, and most of the time it will cost you gold instead of give you gold, but sometimes it is in the black. it usually costs somewhere between -1c and +6c per luck to salvage ecto (meaning sometimes you make a 1c profit per luck, sometimes you lose 6c per luck). So out of 4.3 million luck, that’s a 430g profit to a 2580g loss.
currently, buying ecto, salvaging, and selling dust will cost you 0.68c per luck
there are other scenarios: if you have ecto and need to use dust, you currently make a 2.736c profit per luck by salvaging the ecto for dust instead of selling the ecto and buying dust.
