I tried to ask this question in another thread, but it will probably disappear in betwren posts, so…
Is it truly possible to get a precursor using lv 70 exotics? I managed to get Eir’s longbow with them… Must be a hint or something like that I suppose :S

AS far as i know it is lvl 75+ rares and exotics!

Huh… I asked because I read a week ago that someone got the rifle with lv 70 exotics… Just wanted to know if someone else got them that way

Maybe if you buy a bunch of cheap lvl 70’s they can give you 80’s which can give you precursors? I’ve never actually tried, but I’ve heard it’s 75-80 to get one directly, as well.

Huh… Do you guys know the minimum lv required to get a lv 75 exotic from 4 lower lv exotics? lv 70 always give me 78-80.

Hi my name is Ethros and I have a mystic forge addiction… I have not gotten a precurser yet, but I would be weary of adding just lvl 70 exotics to the forge. I would try for at least one 80 and the rest 70’s or two or more at 76 or higher. I have however had great luck turning rares into exotics recently. It might just be luck, but it seems the teiring up percentage for rares to exotics is higher than the fine to MW or MW to rares. A few weeks ago I was hitting about 3 out of 5 rares to exotics and a few nights ago I was 3 for 3.
