Is there a good place with a lot of onions? I’ve looked at maps online but when I make it to the locations there are no onions there so…. any advice for good ways to get them? Trying to make a bunch of dyes and onions are a hot commodity

I spend a lot of time in Field of ruins and Lornar’s peak and see nodes for onions all the time when I’m hitting event chains and gathering grapes at the farms in those two zones.

Looking at Astral Projections’ link I can confirm both the two maps I mentioned and also in Harathi in the camp you defend from centaurs and launch from for the ulgoth event there are often 1 or 2 onion nodes. I have never seen an instance when that didn’t have at least 1 onion node.

Personally I would go around Caledon forest and Metrica Province hoping to find vanilla or around Ashford looking for chilli peppers. You will stumble on a few onions anyway and chilli and vanilla sell for a good enough price that you can buy onions with the profit. Unfortunately onions are a little too spread out to farm specifically, but can be farmed incidentally in a lot of places while you are doing other stuff. Which I understand is frustrating if all you really want are the onions.

I don’t know if they took the majority of them out or not but wayfarer’s plant nodes were almost exclusively onions.
