You have to use a transmutation disruptor, upgrade it, and if you want the skin, you transmute it again.
This is not entirely correct.
If you transmute (or apply a skin) on top of the Capacitor, you can upgrade it still, however you will lose the skin you applied to the Capacitor.
If you, however, apply the Capacitor as a skin onto something else, you cannot upgrade the Capacitor (although I’m not sure why you’d want to do that).
Well my technique work for both situation and keep the skin.
