Does this mean that the ones below no longer work? Per wiki the Mystic Forge recipes are “This recipe has been disabled with the September 3, 2013 update and be reactivated during Halloween.”

That is just to craft the actual recipe for gift of souls. Crafting the crossing is completely different.

For The Crossing you will need:
1 Gift of the Souls
1 Eldritch Scroll
100 Mystic Coin
20 Superior Sigil of the Night

So you are getting 2 sepearate items mixed up.

I agree!! 30k Candy Corn, 10k Nougat Center, Chattering Skull, Plastic Fang for all three recipes!! Now way I’ll get them now unless they drop from chest in Ascent to Madness.

Last years Halloween was way better. I do like the Candy Corn node in home instance thought :-)

Well if you are going to be crafting these recipes, be thankful the original release notes got modified, prior to release it was intended to be 100 skulls etc, seems to have been reduced to 10 at the very last minute (without explanation that I can find).

Which changed absolutely nothing, as it’s still completely impossible to farm.

There was a thread where people were complaining about the quantities and a ANet staffer came on and said that was a typo, it was supposed to be the lower number.

Hey guys, looks like the update notes were incorrect. These recipes do not require 100 of the mega materials, they require 10 (that’s 10,000 not 100,000 fangs/skulls/nougat). Sorry for the confusion! We are getting the update notes fixed!
