I bought Gift of Stealth with one of my characters and put it into the bank. After relogging to my alt I realised that I can’t get it out of the bank because it’s soulbound to another character. What the hell?
There isn’t even a tooltip on the item that says that the recipe is soulbound. Is this a bug or is it working as intended?

So far, all recipes I’ve encountered at karma vendors have been the same – no soulbind message at the merchant; soulbound on acquire as soon as it’s bought. So it’s not just the Gift recipes.

Well for karma merchants that’s ok, because karma is character bound. But if I have to pay 10g for this and there is no tooltip, why the hell should it be character bound? It would be nice to hear something from ArenaNet if I have to buy this one again and sell the old one to the vendor or maybe this is a bug and it will be fixed in a future patch.

So I can’t even craft the different components for Legendaries on any of my account’s characters?O.o
Do I really have to learn ALL crafting disciplines on EVERY character?!

No … I just bought it with the wrong character so now the recipe lies useless in my bank. Now I would buy the recipe with my alt and there won’t be any problem … -_- But that’s too late for me.

Thanks, but that’s for karma recipes. I just wanted to point out that it’s the same for the Gift recipes.
