Giver's Ascended Weapons

Since Giver’s came out last Wintersday , thus I am assuming givers wasn’t added to the normal ascended weapons update… Will be be able to craft giver’s ascended weapons this time around?

It would also be nice to see this as an added option to legendaries, as I believe givers was the only stat type you couldn’t change your legendary to.
