Guild Wars 2

I was playing in Kessex today and saw a Guardian in armor I havent seen before and was wondering if anyone knew what it is off hand since I didnt get to take a pic of it.

He had a big shield that looked like glass along with his armor.

Assuming it wasn’t just the Aegis effect I’d hazard a guess it was one of these:

Yes! That’s the shield. His armor had a similar look to it as well. Is there anything like that?

To my knowledge there is no armor that appears to be made of glass. Perhaps what you saw was a clever selection of dyes to match the shield, thus giving the impression they were of the same material?
