I would like to know are halloween cooking recipes that were buyable from halloween karma vendors also discoverable, or it was one time chance to learn then durring event?

The npc venders were removed. You can try the TP though as most of the recipes also dropped from various chests and trick or treat bags.

that was not his question. I’d be interested to know the answer as well.

I can’t speak for cooking (because I already have all the Halloween recipes with my chef), but with my other crafting professions I still see candy corn show up in the discovery tab. So I’d say that’s an indicator that they’re still there to be discovered.

There were recipes you could discover and some that were recipe only.
From what I’ve noticed, recipes you buy are not discovered by accident, you always have to buy the recipe itself. I don’t expect that you could discover them after the event.
I can give you the ingredients I have for any of them that you don’t and tell you the discovery materials if you want to try. I discovered all of them and bought all the recipes. What I don’t remember now is which were which for most of them.

Bowl of Candy corn glaze – def. discovered , starch, water, candy corn
Omnomberry ghost – omnomberry,chocolate,candy corn glaze
Spicy pumpkin cookies – cookie dough, ghost pepper, candy corn glaze, pumpkin pie filling
Glazed pumpkin pies – def. discovered, pumpkin pie filling, ball of dough, candy corn glaze
Piece of candy corn almond brittle – almond, sugar,candy corn
Candy corn cookie – cookie dough, candy corn
Strawberry ghost – strawberry, chocolate, candy corn glaze
Candy corn cake – bakers dry, candy corn, bakers wet, candy corn glaze
Bowl of candy corn custard – egg, candy corn, buttermilk, vanilla

Think I have them all listed, you can test any you don’t have to confirm if recipes are needed.

Recipes that you can buy are never discoverable.
