With the news of being able to trade in candy corn the price has gone up on it. I am curious about the other crafting mats though. The plastic fangs, skulls, and nougat. Nothing was mentioned about those. Do you think there will be new crafting recipes for these or are they going to be left out in the cold?

On the other hand Candy Corn will be obtainable(although in small quantities) all year round. There will probably be a vendor that lets you trade Candy Corn for those other things like the Zhaitaffy vendor.

I’ll just point out that candy corn was harvestable last year so don’t go buying them off the tp. Within a couple days, the prices will be low again. Of course if you’re impatient…

You’ll end up with tons of candy corn like we all did last halloween, so its not worth buying any off the TP……..(Unless Anet change the drops on candy corn this year)

Well I was talking about the other Halloween items.. not the candy corn :p

Yeah, last year I had a mountain of corn just from using copper mining picks in Queensdale. The other stuff (plastic fangs and what have you) were from killing stuff and if I remember right you got some in the dungeon. They’ve been used to craft the weapons like The Crossing, so they’ll always have some value. Like with any other holiday, I remember those mats being very expensive the first couple days, then going down to about 1s each.
