Anyone else agree that all hammer skins aside from The Juggernaut are too small? they look ridiculous compared to a greatsword..both are 2 handed weapons yet the hammer skins look tiny!! it needs to be scaled properly in size please ANET! a Warhammer or Hammer as it is known in this game should be a fearsome weapon and should be sized accordingly.

I agree, but I think they were trying to go for a more realistic approach. Still I’d like to see some larger crushers.

But..but.. the swords look RIDICULOUS.

It’s not the size of the hammer that matters, it’s how you use it.

GW1 had better hammer skins, such as Mursaat Hammer:

The only one where I thought “that’s small” is the golden/seraph hammer.

With swords it’s not even limited to just the greatswords… one-handers look absurdly massive in most cases as well.

haha!..i think you are overcompensating!

On the larger class’s like Norn/Charr some of the skins are sized decently i suppose but when you see them on smaller class’s like humans/sylvari ect..most of em look like toy hammers.

I think the hammers are the ones that are the right size, stupidly massive weapons really bug me, which is the main reason I refuse to GS on my warrior. I’m looking for a sword .that looks normal

too many of them resemble croquet mallets rather than actual 2h hammers. precursor/magmaton, hotw and corrupted hammer are the only decently sized ones. so many of them have the “head” peice way too small or are just ridiculous skins ie; the kitten anchor ones.

jam look at ebonblade or aureate highlander those are about as normal as a 2h sword can get and look decent.

Yeah, I see what you’re saying OP.

I use the Orrian smasher when I’m in a ‘bash ’em with a big hammer’ mood, but that has a very distinctive look, and there aren’t many alternatives unless you wanna shell out the gold/time for a Juggernaut.

Why do we need giant hammers? These current ones are already fairly massive if you are going for more of a realistic look.

Thouhg as the poster above points out, real life war hammers were small, there is no way anyone could use a hammer the size of magmaton effectively for any length of time. Though i’m not going to say anything else cos I have magmaton….

This is why I used the Seraph Hammer till I got THE JUGGERNAUT (all caps required)
