Hey guys, I am new to the game and just trying to hold a dollar. Here is my problem:

I just made a handful of items and put sigils and runes on them with the idea of selling them on the market. But it wont let me post them. Here’s the timeline. I made an axe. I went to the market and bought a sigil. I put the sigil on the axe. I go to sell it and cant. No option for selling it.

Does putting a sigil on an axe (I never equipped it mind you) make the axe soulbound or something?

Help a noob out please.

Yes upgrading an item with a sigil makes it accountbound. Pretty sure there is a window that pops up when you click to upgrade and in red text it says that it will be accountbound. You should really get in the habit of double reading things that have a pop up window like upgrading and purchasing things it will save you a lot of grief. Like people that bought a whole set of armor with tokens on the wrong character.

If the item did not have any upgrade ( sigil, runes in armor), then yes, giving them a sigil/rune makes them soulbound.

in this game items with sigils/runes is not always worth more. most of the times the item and the sigil/rune is worth more alone than combined. one of the reasons is because you cant combine or add new sigil/runes to items without making them soulbound.
