Did you notice that nodes from Caledon Forest are gone? Or am I just blind? I run through the whole zone and did not find even a single one
I want few vanillas for my omnom bars, Is it too much to ask?(

I was in Caledon forest yesterday, waiting to do Twilight Arbor and I found vanilla beans in the general vicinity, so the nodes aren’t gone, at least on my server.

I know for a fact though that different servers have different node placements.

Thank you, I found one node near dungeon. However, I had greater luck in Brisban Wildlands

The nodes move every time they run an update . . . and they don’t show up if you harvested them before they respawn. I don’t know the timer on herb patches but I expect it’s around a few hours.

- Herb seedlings are on a 1h cool down.
- They have general spawning locations, and best maps to farm them are Metrica province and Celadon forest. (33.3% chance)
- Sometimes the locations will reset when a “map reset” is done, afaik rumors have it that the devs fix map issues such as DE’s or RH. (this also happens to other nodes in general in any map)
- There is no such thing as a map that doesn’t have nodes, you simply didn’t look in the right places. I’d recommend zooming out a bit on minimap and hover with your mouse on herb patches to find which are the herb seedlings.

The number of nodes of each type in a zone are fixed. Their locations move around within a set area with each update; some move more than others, but again the number of nodes doesn’t change.

The easiest place to get vanilla beans is due south of the entrance to the Crucible of Eternity in Mount Maelstrom. If you follow the path due south from the front door, there should be four patches of verdant herbs that don’t move around very much, on the coast northwest of Sunken Droknah. You can park an alt there and grab four nodes without moving very much every hour.

True, but the drop rate is 1/4 or 1/5, can’t remember exactly, not so good.
