There are several crafting professions that use iron (weaponsmith, huntsman, articifer, and armorsmith) in crafting armor and weapons.

Thanks, will I be able to craft Iron armor when I reach lv 75 in armor crafting or do I need to purchase recipes?

You don’t need to purchase recipies. You will know the insignia recipe automatically as well as how to make parts. Then you put the parts and the insignia in the Discovery window and after that you know the recipe for that item.

Purchasebale recipies produce different looks of armor.
