Will these exotic weapons have special effect? Also, how do some of the 250x weapons that have been crafted look? I am just wondering if it is worth it to build the trident, since it will cost me around 50g.

If you are asking about the xxx of the mist weapons, they all are weapons that a mesmer phantasm uses. You can see them in action by asking a mesmer, otherwise there are screen shots everywhere you can find.
