To level from 425-450? Just want level 450 so I can start refining ascended mats.

Approximately 7 with a crafting booster. Also, there’s another thread that mentions you can discover non-exotics to get to 450.

For artificer, you can discover potions first before getting to exotics.

For 469/470-500, it takes approximately 13 exotic discoveries.

and 8 475 – 500

8 Sounds about right. I remember getting just over 3 crafting levels per discovery doing ~470-500 with a crafting booster active.

If you have any rares yet undiscovered you can do them. It’s not near as much exp but it’s some. And then you can salvage them for ectos.

i tried that 2 days ago and lvled an alt to 400 weaponsmithing because i had my main at 500 ws already.

It is possible to lvl from 400-500 weaponsmithing without crafting a SINLGE exotic weapon, utilising discovery exp from blue/green/rare weapons as well as sigils/sharpening stones/refinement.
