I have an armour smith, weapon smith, hunter, artificiar and Jeweler. Granted, each would need different amounts but I was wondering if there’s a table to show how much of every crafting material you’d need. I want to start crafting on my 80 main, but wouldn’t want to get stuck midway through (unless it’s for the super rare material).

There are already good guides on how to get to 500, but they forget to say how many of this and that you’d need to get each crafting tier.

a.net: I will not be buying gems with cash until you fix traits.

How about the Always Current Crafting Guide? http://www.gw2crafts.net/artificing.html

It can be set for level 400 or level 500. The first part shows you everything you will need to have for that crafting to get to max level and there is a toggle before each section to show what you need for each tier.

If you are asking for a cumulative listing for all the crafting at once you are not going to find that.

After 400 it’s pretty terrible. I made a profit getting my Weaponsmith and Armorsmith to 500, and that expects over 100 gold loss. I’d tell you all what I did, but then it wouldn’t be profitable, now would it

Yeah. I heard that about the 400 to 500 crafting, if you use it you will lose money.

But I don’t know if you can reasonably expect a basic program like this to be able to consider market trends and upcoming release information. It’s good enough for what it does, get you leveled at a minimum cost, if that’s all you want from it.

Well it’s set up to find the minimum cost considering returns, and you can make a profit by selling the exotics you make.

Yep crafting guides at gw.crafts are good -relatively- only till lvl 400, after that unless you want to make extreme losses, look at market prices. Easier are leather worker and tailor in these days and harder artificer and huntsman, cause of glob prices but otherwise you can get through with say 3g loss or a profit as for the total amount of resources you need the guides will not tell you unless you count them together.
Also keep in mind that if your doing it the tough way-long way sort of speak, with no losses included, then you really shouldn’t worry since all the mats you buy, you will get the money back
