Friend is helping me out with gold, getting the mats and what have you (Selling his dusk even, for 560g on the tp right now lol), just need to do SE for a few days and I’ll be done.

What do you think it’s worth?

I’d really like to discourage you from selling legendary. It doesn’t feel right, and I hope Anet step in and remove these from the TP.

Well, if you post a legendary on the TP you have to make a decission: Either you want to get safe money and list it for like 2500g (125g listing fee) or you want to get the most possible money out of it and list it for 3000g (150g listing fee). But in the last case you might not be able to sell your legendary, so you have to relist it, and this means paying the listing fee twice.
If I was you, I would post it for something like 2500g on the TP, just to make sure someone buys it. Another methode is, to shout in LA and let the buyer put an order, just to make sure, that you sell your Juggernaut.

The question is, with someone who has 2500-3k gold, why not just buy the mats and make it himself? Apart from the 1m karma (which isn’t hard to get anyway) and the skill points (same). Or is that it? o.O the couple hundred gold is worth it?

because some pp with deep pockets don’t want to grind karma, tokens and map 100%. So you are right, that’s it. Some ppl don’t care about money and can buy it.

It doesn’t matter what feels right or doesn’t feel right to you. Your feelings don’t matter to anybody who took their time to craft a legendary. If they took the time out of their lives to craft it they should do whatever they feel fit to do with it also!

I don’t know enyone that would pay that for a Legendary weapon even if they had the gold to do it it would be cheaper to make it than buy it from the TP. (a lot cheaper…)

I just made Jugger, after Sunrise, and now heading for quip.

Would not dream on selling any of them, after pouring my soul into each one.
It’s a shame that you cheapen your whole experience to that level.

Omg, how much playtime do you got? You’ve made Juggernaut AND Sunrise and now working on Quip? I must be doing something wrong cause i just made Kudzu and i got 1200 hours playtime. What are you farming to pull that kinda cash in? I mean Jugg and Sunrise precursors are like 800g alone unless you got VERY lucky at the mystic toilet. Anyways, you should sell your gold strats at that rate haha.

Very german farming routines with alts, not for the weak of heart.
But no more than 3h a day.

Gold wise – Just need the icy runestones and stack of ori ingots + ancient wood boards

I must have missed something cause i don’t understand the very german farming routines. I mean i run around with 2 80s doing the whole node farming and no way i come close to the price of dawn and colossus precursor. And for gold you also forgot the 500ish ecto per weapons unless you’re crafting cheap rares and breaking em down in which case you need T5 mats as well as all the T6 mats needed. Regardless tho, hats off to you on doing it. Like i said i just finished Kudzu for my ranger and now im gonna start working on either jugg or twilight for my guard but i cry alittle everytime i look at those precursor prices :P

The amount people are trying to sell them for is ridiculous.

Cost about 1000g for all the mats, then another 500g to 1000g for the amount of time you put in.

Them going for +3000g is highway robbery.
