Hey might be stupid but I searched quite a lot online and didn’t find anything too solid so i’d rather just ask on the forums.

First how do I craft exotic weapons? I am 400 weaponsmith.
a) what materials are required in general?
b) where do I get the recipes and for how much?

and where can I farm that orichalum or?

Oh and how long of farming should I expect to craft one greatsword and one sword (both clerics) with 3 runes?

You buy the recipe for the clerics orichalcum imbued inscription from the master weaponsmith at the crafting station.

To craft the inscription, you need:
5 orichalcum plated dowels (30 orichalcum ore and 30 ancient wood)
5 Ectoplasm
5 Elaborate Totems

Once you crafted the inscription, you need to craft 1 each orichalcum sword blade and sword hilt (or greatsword blade and hilt) and throw the blade, hilt and inscription together in the discovery panel.

You can farm the ori and ancient wood in the Orr Maps, Southsun Cove and Frostgorge Sound, will take around 1-2 hours i would guess.

What are the 3 runes for?

Oh, might be sigils? I’m still mixed up, for my three weapons.

Sigils are upgrades for weapons. Generally made with a rare crafting material + a common material, not commonly used in crafting weapons, more just for upgrading existing weapons.

Orichalcum Ore nodes and Ancient Sapling/Orrian Sappling. They are most common in the Orr zones, Southsun Cove, and Frostgorge Sound.

Never buy Master. Salvage kits to salvage…..forge Mystic Salvage kits (unless you are short on skill points and don’t have some Mystic forge stones).
