Please give me a way to combine the Invisible/Safety box with an equipment box to create a box which fills with soulbound equipment (not just random loot I pick up) and is invisible to the trader so I don’t sell it. I really need a bag to store my weapon sets. Every time I swap a one handed set out for a two handed weapon, my off hand ends up in my general loot bag and I have to move it back into my invisible bag. If I use an equipment box I have to make sure I don’t accidentally sell my items that aren’t exotic because they still show up.

There was a bag in GW1 that did the exact functions I want (but instead of forcing me to buy a specific bag, hiding a bag from a vendor was a function of the game since 2005, we seem to have gone backwards here and it’s resulted in a less convenient situation). The game seemed to remember which bags held which items.

I really want a bag that will collect, store and hide my weapon sets so I can swap them around in dungeons and not worry about them playing musical chairs with the rest of my loot or being merched for 2 silver.

I was trying to think of a solution for this but I can’t come up with one. Unless there is a bag that takes bound items only. But then that will still end up with some loot drops in it as some of them are BoA. I thought when an item is equipped to one of the weapon sets it is no longer in your bag so that for example set one being a two hand is stored in the equipment panel and set two being one hand and offhand is also stored in the equipment panel regardless of which one is active.

@Jia Shen You are correct about how the secondary weapon set does not show up, however what Shiren is talking about is having 3 weapon sets. For example, I use a GS/S&P for PvE, but in WvW I use GS/Staff. When I equip my staff into the S&P spot the sword goes to where the staff was, but my pistol moves to the first open slot in my bags. If I’m not careful and just selling my stuff quick, or salvaging it I may accidently get rid of my pistol. While I believe it is possible to buy back from vendors if you salvage it it’s a crappy situation.

@ Shiren I agree with you, a box for that would be very helpful, or maybe just a check mark on all bags to have the option to hide them from vendors. It would make the invisible bag obsolete but I feel it would be a nice QoL feature.

Simple solution: exotic fractal bag. Guess, when you switch, exotic gear go straight on that bag

I use MF armor while I work on world completion stuff, and switch to knights armor for wvw / dungeons. I keep it all in an invisible bag (in my last bag slot). When I want to switch, I open the hero menu and whether I double-click each item to equip it or drag it from the hero-menu-inventory space to equip it, it the two pieces swap places. This is what you want to happen, right? I just tried it for weapons, seems to work there too.

That works if you are swaping one for one, both being two handed, but when you swap a two handed with 2 one handed weapons the off hand weapon moves to the top of your inventory, while the main hand swaps places with the one you switched it out for.
I ended up slavaging a torch I used because of this, was while lvling up so wasnt a big loss but still kind of annoying when you go to switch to some thing and you no longer have it.
the simple solution would be to have any off hand weapons that are not swaping directly with another weapon go to the botom of your inventory, every thing I want to keep I always move there any ways, my hiden bags are all on the botom and even if they are full it would most likly keep it seperated from stuff you are just finding.
or have it move the the nearest available slot closest to the weapon you swaped it with. in case some people organize there inventory a bit different, keeping there safe bags up top or some thing.

So, as i said, use the fractal bag, no risk
