Is there diminishing returns if you are playing the Mystic Slot Machine (Forge)? Reason I’m asking is I either had a really good stroke of luck last night getting three rather sellable items at a good price from crafted greens (going for my monthly) out of five “spins” (same good item all three times) while today I get bupkis out of 25 “spins”.

I’m pretty sure the devs have stated that DR does not apply to the mystic forge. I also does not apply to salvaging or when opening loot bags.

It may not apply to the forge itself, but I still firmly believe it applies to your character, and by that I mean I have some characters that seem to get hit by massive DR regardless of what I’m doing, be it the forge or anything else, then some that have the best luck ever, and an alt account that has good luck on everything except on a single character on it. Until we get more solid proof I’ll keep my tinfoil hat on and believe in the existence of perma-dr

You’re going to need a larger sample size than that before you start to worry about DR or what other people here consider ‘stealth nerfs’
