Q:

Let’s say hypothetically that I have a recipe sheet that can be crafted by multiple disciplines. A good example would be Recipe: Ravaging Intricate Wool Insignia, which can be crafted by the 3 armor crafting disciplines.

The question: If I had a character that had tailor and armorsmith disciplines, would the recipe affect both crafts or would I have to buy 2 so it would affect both of them?

A: if you have 2 or 3 crafting disciplines (Armoursmith, Leatherworker and Tailor) on the same character then yes you only have to learn it once, if on the other hand you create a new character and you wish them to make the same insignia then you will have to relearn it for each new character that you want to use it.

Although you can always just make the insignia on the 1st character and put it in the bank for your other characters to use, without having to learn it on any other characters i.e: your Tailor who has Intricate Ravaging Wool Insignia can make it, and your Armoursmith can use it to make the finished armour.

Clearly doesn’t unlock the recipe on other disciplines, just the one you picked
