Hi, my main has Jewelcrafting and Cooking. Will he also be able to progress to 500 soon like the others? what’s coming for those crafting proffessions ?

Soon? No one knows. What’s coming? Jewel crafting, some hints about legendary jewel crafting. Maybe particle effects. Nothing definite though, there is only speculation at this point. Cooking is a complete unknown.

I seriously doubt they will leave 2 of the 8 crafts with no way to level to 500. No one knows how soon they will add this, though.

I’d love to finally craft ascended zealot’s stat trinkets at least. But I wish you could just buy them like every other stat combo

yeah you should be able to craft ascended trinkets in jeweling., would be much helpful, and craft better foods too like

I suggest jeweling 500 improve 2% stats of each trinket.

My brain hurts trying to imagine what might go into making the ascended mixed ingredients for dishes. It could go either really simply or “we enjoy making people cry” annoying.

Obviously bloodstone bricks, who doesn’t like blood or bricks in their food :P

Hey I always have an idea on 500 cooking:

At 500 cooking, you should be able to make a ascended replenish-able food of your choosing. And its power should equal to the lvl 80 food you get currently.

Basically once made you can get the convenience of not having to buy your food anymore.

What do you guys think?

That would destroy the market for cooking.

it would destroy the market only if most people are 500 in cooking. Given that it would cost a decent amount to make and limit to produce 1 particular type of food, and that it offers no additional stats boost, I hardly think it would affect the market at all. Oh did I say that it would be account bond and basically its like food except, it won’t disappear once consumed.

It would be great for people like me, who is simply too cheap to spend 10s for 30 min of casual play.

I think it would have to be Legendary food dishes that were self-replenishing, not Ascended.

Hoping we might get an update on this when the Dragon Bash update happens next month.

Ascended cooking, now more complicated than Legendary crafting.

Legendary crafting is not complicated, it just needs a precursor weapon that cannot be crafted, and probably never will be.

Hopefully the main function of ascended cooking will be to act as a steady drain of the supply of ascended mats in my account, but not a drain on karma or skill points. As it stands using a vision crystal to give a boost to Lemon Poultry soup (say double duration, 20% bonus to stats) would be cost effective in terms of gold, but unsustainable for karma and skill points. Bring on vision flakes I say.

I imagine that Level 500 cooking would be in that vein.

Ascended Jewelry, however, has long been talked about, but doesn’t seem likely to enter the game, as that has always been the big time-gated piece that forces guilds to run Guild Missions, even if they’d rather do something else.

I don’t know about you but those clearly look like jewelry ingredients to me.

I could have sworn there was a Dev post some months back about level 500 jewelry. Something about Legendary trinkets that have special particle effects. I remember reading it but can’t seem to track it down. Does anyone else remember this?

One new type of Legendary gear will definitely be putting in an appearance this year and will likely be a trinket such as a ring or amulet.

my theory is that with 1st July we will see the upgrade to 500 for the last two Jobs.

The new additional crafting license hints it imo.
